This Privacy Policy applies to both Blog www.miehenterveysseuraa and Online Store ManToSelf.

3. What will be collected and why?
As prompt WordPress is not collecting user data from visitors. Author is the only site User and other user registration to blog is not enabled, but in ManToSelf online store it is possible to fill in registration data.
3.1 Comments
When a Blog visitor is submitting a comment, site will save following data:
- Name of commenter (input by user)
- Email address (input by user)
- IP-address
- Date and time of the comment
- Comment which will appear on site if author accepts the content
- Browser version data
Data is collected in order to filter out trash mail and to enable monitoring to prevent abusive content before publishing . Comment data will be directed to author by email automatically from site.
The anonymized hash generated from the email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if the commenter is a registered user. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
3.2 Contact form
From contact form, following data is collected:
- Name
- Email address
- Message input by user
Data is used for replying to commenter’s email by Author.
3.3 Subscribing to Mailing list (MailerLite) and Push Notifications (OneSignal)
While browsing “About me” and “Contact me” pages, a pop-up page will appear prompting user to subscribe to site mailing list. Mailing list is used for sending newsletters and post summaries to email address given by user.
From sign-up (subscribe) form, following data is collected::
- Email address
- Name
- Country
The information collected through the form is stored in the contact database of user miehenterveysseuraa.fi (Jukka Asplund) account created on the MailerLite.com website. Contact information is grouped in the service so that targeted emails can be sent to them, e.g. using the language selection (FI/EN)
If you have subscribed to our newsletter or if you are a member of our website (you can log in) or if you have purchased on our website, there is a good chance you will receive emails from us.
We will only send you emails which you have signed up to receive, or which pertain to the services we provided to you.
To send you emails, we use the name and email address you provide us. Our site also logs the IP address you used when you signed up for the service to prevent abuse of the system.
This website may use a push notification prompt created with the OneSignal plugin. This prompt is triggered in the user’s browser based on a time delay and/or number of page views, offering the user the option to subscribe to automatic notifications about new FI/EN-language posts. If the user accepts, the push subscription is stored in the browser of their device. Subscription data is shown anonymously to the administrator (Author) defined in section 1, but the device identifier is registered and shown on the OneSignal website under the Author’s account subscription menu.
3.4 MailPoet:
This website can send emails through the MailPoet Sending Service. This service allows us to track opens and clicks on our emails. We use this information to improve the content of our newsletters.
No identifiable information is otherwise tracked outside this website except for the email address.

3.5 Media
If you upload images to this website, you should avoid uploading images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and view the location data from images on the website.
3.6 WooCommerce Online Store “ManToSelf” (WordPress Plugin)
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
Send you information about your account and order
Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
Process payments and prevent fraud
Set up your account for our store
Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
Improve our store offerings

Who has access to your data:
Only Registerholder (Author) defined in section 1. has access to the information you provide us. Registerholder acts as Store Manager and can access:
Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
Sharing order data:
We share order and customer information with following third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you: Print-On-Demand service providers Printful, Printify and Gelato.
Payments:
We accept WooPayments.
We accept direct Credit/Debit Card payments (customer pays with major credit or debit card by filling in cared data without leaving the store.
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

3.7 Advertising
Our website might use Google for WooCommerce plugin, which allows us to advertise our products on Google platforms such as Google Shopping. In connection with this, Google may collect information related to your browser, including IP address, cookies, product view history, purchase data, and campaign tracking information. Our website might use Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Ads & Pixel for WooCommerce and Facebook for WooCommerce. In case such remarketing or analytics tools will be used, a cookie blocking plugin will create a pop-up to give visitor an option to opt out or to consent to non-essential cookies.
4. Data storage and security
Data mentioned above in section 3. is collected to WordPress user database (Author), plugins of WordPress, Mailer Lite web-service user account and other services defined in section 3. Data is stored on Author’s client account in webhotel sevice provider (Zoner, Finland) and on Author’s personal email account servers (Google/Zoner accounts). Site is exclusively maintained by Author mentioned in section 1. of this policy.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is done so that we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Caching
LiteSpeed Cache:
This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. 5. Disclosure of data
Data is not disclosured to other third parties unless required by law or official authorities. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
6. Cookies and data analytics
Registerholder (Author) uses third party website developer tools (like Jetpack, Rank Math SEO, Google Search Console, Microsoft Bing Webmaster Tools). Tools might collect cookie data which will not be used to identify visitors, but instead for development of websites and services.
If you leave a comment on the site, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website URL in a cookie. This feature enhances user convenience by allowing you to avoid re-entering the information each time you post a comment. The cookie data is stored in your browser for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Viewing embedded content from other websites is comparable to visiting the third-party site directly.
